In my "Buenos Aires" series artwork collection you can find the drawing of the Palace of the Argentine National Congress - a National Historic Landmark, constructed between 1898 and 1906 in Neoclassical style. This style of architecture recalls the grandeur of Greek and Roman temples and palaces, with columns, domes, and arches that highlight the hierarchies of space. It was used to great effect to demonstrate the city's wealth and enlightenment ideals.
